One practice, since 2001

A Memphis practice that grew one office at a time.

Chiropractic Memphis Health & Wellness is four chiropractors and three offices across Germantown, Southwind and Memphis, run as one practice rather than three businesses that happen to share a name. The approach is holistic and patient first: a treatment plan built for the person in the chair, not a script run on everyone who walks through the door.

How it started

Dr. Dave Kellenberger bought a clinic in East Memphis in 2001.

He had graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic a few years earlier and moved to Memphis to practise. In 2001 he purchased a clinic in East Memphis and started Chiropractic Memphis, on a simple idea: put the patient first, and build every plan around what they actually need rather than a standard routine.

That one office is the reason there are three today. As the practice grew, it added chiropractors and offices rather than switching hands, so the same standard of care carried forward instead of being rebuilt each time.

Three offices, one standard

Grown into Collierville/Germantown, Southwind and Memphis.

Each office runs its own hours and keeps its own line, but all three answer to the same practice and the same idea about what chiropractic care should feel like. Dr. Dave Kellenberger and Dr. Reed Johnson practise at the Collierville/Germantown office, Dr. Alan Arstikaitis at Germantown/Southwind, and Dr. Philip Berardi at the Memphis office on Summer Avenue. Between the four of them there is more than a hundred years of chiropractic experience.

What holistic means here

Pain management and overall wellness, not one visit and a discharge.

The practice's focus has always split between two things: pain management, and overall wellness. Those are not the same goal. Treating pain gets someone through a flare-up. Wellness care is the plan that keeps them from ending up back at square one, built around lifestyle counselling and a treatment plan tailored to that person's own needs rather than a generic protocol.

That is why a first visit here starts with a conversation, not a routine. Same-day appointments are often available at all three offices, and the paperwork and insurance side of things is handled by the office so the visit itself can stay about the patient.

Who we see

Families, athletes, expectant mothers and seniors, under one roof.

Some patients come in after a car accident or a sports injury. Others come for the kind of pain that has been quietly getting worse for months, chronic back and neck pain, sciatica, headaches. Others come for care built around a specific stage of life: a pregnancy, a growing child, or the balance and mobility concerns that come with age. All three offices see the full range, and each treatment plan is built for the person, not the category they fall into.
